Sharon Contillo
President of Women in Film New England/TV & Film Producer
Sharon Contillo is an award-winning filmmaker and children's book author, dedicated to the art of storytelling. As the founder of Middle Center Productions, LLC, Sharon focuses on female-led and family-oriented productions, giving a platform to underrepresented voices.
In her role as President of Women in Film & Video New England, a nonprofit (501c3) organization, Sharon advocates for gender parity and diversity in the industry. She also serves as a board member of Women in Film & Television - US.
Sharon's work includes executive producing "Jack Goes Home," directed by Thomas Dekker and featuring Britt Robertson, Rory Culkin, and Natasha Lyonne. She has also created, directed and produced four IBM Trade Show Commercials and along with a short PSA, "Curls” which aims to support children and teens struggling with body dysmorphic disorder.
As an author, Sharon has written "The Little Christmas Ornament" youth chapter book and the children’s book “Ornaments,” to share imaginative stories with young readers.
